Extension of partnership with five European football clubs including Hyundai Motor and Chelsea
Hyundai Motor, which is actively sponsoring Europe’s top soccer clubs, released a video on the 13th wishing them a victory ahead of the start of the 2021-2022 European Football League.
Following last season, Hyundai has confirmed an extension of its sponsorship as an official partner for the English Premier League ‘Chelsea FC’, Spanish La Liga ‘Atletico Madrid’, Italian Serie A ‘AS Roma’, German Bundesliga ‘Hertha BSC’ and ‘Eintracht Frankfurt’.
Hyundai Motor, which has been sponsoring the first division league teams of four European countries, including the U.K., Spain, Italy and Germany since 2018, has once again established its position as a global sports partner.
The video released this time shows Hyundai Motor’s strong commitment to actively communicate with soccer fans in Europe and around the world while celebrating its special relationship with the clubs.
Hyundai Motor plans to actively promote Hyundai Motor’s brand by using billboards in the stadium during the season, as well as display new cars that will be launched in the future so that soccer fans can experience them first.
In particular, Hyundai Motor’s logo engraved on the sleeves of the Chelsea FC and Atletico Madrid will appear for the first time in the 2021-2022 UEFA Champions League.
Andreas-Christoff Hoffman, vice president of product and marketing at Hyundai Motor’s European subsidiary, said, “I am very happy to have a new season as a proud partner of the European football team, and I hope fans can enjoy the game soon.”
Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor is expanding its sports partnership portfolio by sponsoring not only the men’s team but also Chelsea FC Women’s, where Korean women’s soccer symbol Ji So-yeon plays, but also the women’s teams of Atletico Madrid, AS Roma and Eintracht Frankfurt.
