Hyundai Motor Company, Kia Motors, Car Call Service for the Underprivileged in the U.S
Hyundai Motor and Kia will launch specialized vehicle call services for the disabled and the elderly.
The first stage is a foreign country. Hyundai Motor and Kia announced on the 18th that they recently started “Enable LA,” a vehicle call service for the weak in traffic, in Los Angeles, the U.S.
The project is in the demonstration stage, so it may be expanded to other regions or countries in the future.
If disabled and elderly people who want to use the service apply by phone or mobile application, drivers who have completed specialized training for transportation vulnerable people will visit in person in a dedicated vehicle.
Afterwards, it moves safely to the destination.
To this end, Hyundai Motor and Kia signed an agreement with “ButterFLi,” a transportation mobility platform company based in LA.
Hyundai Motor and Kia will provide vehicles needed for service and Butterfly will operate a vehicle calling app.
For this demonstration project, Hyundai and Kia modified and introduced Hyundai Motor’s Palisade and Kia’s Telluride, which are large sports utility vehicles (SUVs), to suit the convenience of the weak.안전놀이터

Hyundai Motor and Kia are planning to reveal their experience in operating transportation services based on the results of research on demonstration projects at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in January next year.
