Manchester United is preparing to punish Ronaldo for making bombshell remarks
Manchester United are preparing to discipline Cristiano Ronaldo.
British media ‘Metro’ reported on the 14th (Korea Standard Time) that “Christian Ronaldo will be fined at least 1 million pounds for his decision to interview Piers Morgan for bombshell remarks.”
Ronaldo recently gave everyone a surprise interview. In an interview with Piers Morgan, he strongly criticized Manchester United and coach Eric Ten Hagh.
Ronaldo said, “I feel betrayed. Not only the coach but also two or three people in the club are going to send me. I felt they didn’t want me. Not only this year, but also last year. I feel betrayed,” he said.
He also criticized United’s choice. Ronaldo said: “I don’t know what’s going on. United have made no progress since Ferguson left. United replaced Solskjaer. And he appointed Sporting Director Ralph Langnick. This guy wasn’t even a director. I’ve never even heard of this person’s name,” he said.
In response, Manchester United is preparing to punish Ronaldo. According to the media, the amount is as much as 1 million pounds (about 1.5 billion won). It’s Ronaldo’s two-week salary. Ronaldo recently refused to replace coach Ten Hagh and left the stadium for the same amount of disciplinary action.
Manchester United is expected to take the same level of disciplinary action this time. The relationship between Ronaldo, Manchester United and coach Ten Hach has crossed the line. Local media predicted that Ronaldo would leave Manchester United in the winter transfer market.
